Mike grew up in Bogue, NC before going to ECU for his undergraduate degree. From there he went on to teach at the middle and high school level while coaching wrestling, baseball, and football. After that he went back to ECU to get his doctorate in physical therapy and has been practicing since 2010. He enjoys working with patients of all diagnoses and helping them return to the things that they love doing. He does however have a special interest working with athletes to help them succeed in sport. Mike is a certified Graston technician, proficient in using biofeedback for muscle activation, and has a certificate in Vestibular therapy. When not at work Mike is an avid runner, paddle board racer, practicing surfer, and loves spending time with his wife and daughter anywhere near water.
